BETT prepares educators to instruct high school pupils. This course aims to equip students with the confidence necessary to use the target language in a professional context. In addition to gaining a comprehensive comprehension of Business English, candidates will learn how to cultivate the speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills of their students. In addition, candidates will learn how to teach soft skills to students so that they can succeed in the workplace. The course is extremely educational and peppered with tasks designed to assess candidates and maximise their learning. Our senior educator, who has more than 35 years of experience in the ESL industry, designed the entire curriculum.
BETT trains education professionals on how to introduce business English to their students. A key component of the program is instructing the intended students in professional communication. Both business writing and business communication fall under this category. These modules instruct candidates on how to emphasize the distinction between language learning and language acquisition, as well as how to instruct their students on the correct format for business letters. The program is also designed to aid teachers with lesson planning and providing appropriate evaluation and feedback. Given that the educators will be instructing adults, the program prepares them to manage a classroom effectively. The lesson on classroom management in the curriculum teaches instructors how to handle and defuse problems when they arise. In addition, it provides guidance on how to make courses interesting and easy to comprehend. The BETT course curriculum incorporates material management instruction as an additional important topic.
At APTTI, we use the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method, in which students are encouraged to converse and practice the target language.
